Casino and raceway

Elements Casino Grand River is a casino in Elora, operated by Great Canadian Entertainment. It is always open, 7 days a week. Holiday hours should be checked on the casino's own site. The casino's local line is 519-846-2022.

The Grand River Agricultural Society, a not-for-profit, owns and operates the raceway. Its first race date was April 24, 2004, on a 5/8-mile track spread over 53 acres. Racing here is harness only, with standardbreds. Live races run most Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights from June to September, 10 to 12 a night, first race 6:20 p.m. The GrandWay Lounge shows simulcast racing year-round.
