Online play in Ontario now
Ontario has had a regulated online gambling market since April 4, 2022, conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario and regulated by the AGCO. To check a site, look for it on the list of regulated sites that iGaming Ontario publishes at igamingontario.ca.

How the online market works
The market opened on April 4, 2022. iGaming Ontario conducts and manages it, and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulates it. A private online casino is legal in the province only with two things: AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. The list of regulated sites is published at igamingontario.ca. Any site missing from that list is not part of the regulated market.
OLG.ca is the online casino of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the provincial agency. Online play has two conditions for everyone. Players must be 19 or older. Bets can be placed only while the player is physically inside Ontario.
Cards and online play
This guide matches rewards cards to land-based casinos and nothing else. For each casino, it takes the programme named on the casino's own page or its operator's programme page, and dates the check. Where no official page read by the guide names one, the card is marked as not confirmed. The guide covers where a card works and how to get it. It says nothing about online accounts or online offers, and it never ranks one card above another.
Blocking yourself
BetGuard, at betguard.ca, lets a person exclude themselves from every regulated Ontario online gambling site, OLG.ca included. iGaming Ontario has run it since May 14, 2026. Terms are 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or a custom term. It does not cover land-based casinos.
For casinos, OLG's My PlayBreak sets a self-exclusion of 3 or 6 months, or 1 to 5 years. A casino break bars entry to any Ontario casino. Enrolment goes through the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098, staff on site, or a PlaySmart Centre. Once set, the term cannot be cancelled early.
